Per CMO 01, s. 2009, CMO No. 05, s. 2008 otherwise known as "Policies and Standards for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program", is withdrawn effective end of School Year 2009-2010. Policies and Standards for the BSN program are being reviewed and HEIs offering the BSN program shall be informed by April 2009 of developments that shall be implemented effective School Year 2009-2010.

Indefinite Postponement of the Zonal Orientation on the Implementing Guidelines of EO694

Per Memorandum from the Officer-In-Charge, Office of the Executive Director dated September 24, 2008, please be informed that the Zonal Orientation on the Implementing Guidelines of Executive Order 694, "Enabling Higher Education Institutios to Opt to Ladderize their Education Programs without Need for Issuance of Permit from the Commission on Higher Education and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority," of Regions I, II, II, IVA, IVB, NCR and CAR on October 2, 2008 at the Hotel Supreme was postpones. The rescheduled date and venue shall be announced later.

National Medical Admission Test (NMAT)

Per letter of the Center for Educational Measurement, Inc., please be informed that the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) will be administered in Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, Cagayan De Oro, Zamboanga and Dagupan on December 14, 2008. Registration will be from September 15 to November 14, 2008 at

Application forms will be made available during the registration period in CEM-Makati, its branches in Cebu and Davao and service centers in Cagayan De Oro (Xavier University), Bacolod City (University of St. La Salle), Iloilo City (Ateneo De Iloilo) and Zamboanga (Ateneo de Zamboanga Univeristy).

Deadline for submission of application forms is November 14, 2008. Registration fee costs Five Hundred Pesos (Php 500.00). This is inclusive of the NMAT Bulletin of Information (BOI) containing the application form, the Practice sets (parts I & II which serves as review material), processing and mailing costs of admission slips and test results. Testing fee of One Thousand Four Hundred Pesos (Php 1,400.00) is charged per applicant upon filing of the NMAT form.
